Peter K twenty years ago and today

Peter earned a degree in nutrition, followed by a Masters of Science in physical therapy. He became an expert in food and exercise, and started training and competing in triathlons. He used this knowledge to design a whole new lifestyle for himself and his future.

Using science and experience, he discovered 5 powerful exercises anyone can do, how to eat great anywhere and how to control thoughts for success. These principles became “5 Minutes to Fitness+,” a revolutionary lifestyle program for achieving optimal health.

Peter also launched an online fit lifestyle club, “Fit Friends’ Revolution” that partners people up with friends and a health coach.

Peter’s program for success focuses on harnessing the three secrets of professional and personal achievements:

• Food is for energy, not emotions

• Exercise is for stamina and strength, not punishment

• Thoughts are for success and happiness, not loathing and disappointment

It has been more than 20 years since Peter’s life-changing moment and he’s still in the best shape of his life. He’s kept off the 60 pounds but, more importantly, he’s happier, living better, has the health he dreamed of, and is realizing his vision.

Interview with Peter K

1. What sort of daily exercise routine would you recommend for people wanting to keep their minds in tip-top condition?
Perform simple, functional resistance exercise like squats, push-ups, lunges and rows every day. Perform these exercises as part of a circuit in 5-minute segments. This will help you build muscle and increase your heart rate at the same time for a cardio effect. This type of workout will also decrease injuries and pain. You will have more stamina and confidence

2. What foods might be beneficial to someone wanting to boost their brain power?
Eat energizing anti-inflammatory foods like salmon, berries, brown rice, fruits and vegetables. Revolutionize why you eat; eat for energy, not emotional comfort. Log what you eat in a food tracker to assure your success. Don’t try to eat less “bad” food. Focus on eating more great food and you won’t miss the “bad.”

3. Just for fun: if you were on quiz team, what would your FUN specialist subject be?
The American Revolution. I am fascinated by how they did what they did and have read numerous books on the subject.
